My aim is to be a generalist. What I mean by this is the understanding and execution of all aspects of visual effects. Though in stating this goal I realize how accomplishing this in 10 weeks might be a bit unpractical. So, I have devised 2 projects that I think I will get the most out of and tired to focus myself with my second project.

For project 1 I plan to use a 3d model that I started over the break. I call him DrinkBot and he role in our world is simple, to bring someone an Icy cold beverage. What I plan to do is to finish modeling and texturing him and then composite him into a hand held shot. This project will be one shot that is roughly 15-20 seconds but no longer then thirty seconds. The shot will take place on a desktop with DrinkBot either dancing or moving in a way that I picture this bot will move.
Below is a list of what I will accomplish in project 1:
-Modeling
-Texturing
-Rigging
-Animating
-Matchmoving
-Compositing

For project two I tried to focus myself more and come up with a project that I felt was specific to my main interest. For this project I plan to do a hard surface model, a 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC. The aim of this project will be modeling and texturing with some emphasis on rendering. Also if time permits I will work into the rendering aspect a composting part in which I will implement HDR.
Below is a list of what I will accomplish in Project 2:
-Modeling
-Texturing
-Rendering
Bonus:
-Lighting
-HDR
-Compositing
